Quotes From This Episode

How do we get you to change your behavior? How do we get you to think about it differently? That can be, in the sustainability world, a little bit on educating your C-suite, educating your teams about why you want to do what you’re doing. It can also be, hey, we’re going to start this recycling program. We need your actual behavior to change. So how do we make that visible and easy?

Jennifer Michelle

What it can be is, how do we think from the very beginning where we’re getting our materials? How are we sourcing them? Are there ways we could be more efficient? Efficiency often requires less energy, which reduces your footprint. So there are lot of different ways of thinking about it.

Jennifer Michelle

It really starts with a roadmap. Think about what you would like to do and take a small step in that direction and plan it out. It might not be as big of a leap as you’re thinking. I think some people are scared to get started because they think they have to rip out their whole HVAC system, have to redo all of their lighting. They have to rip out their building supplies. It doesn’t have to be that. There are a lot of options to get you going.
